Prizes

There will be trophies for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each section. Medals will be awarded to other top performers. 

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in the Open Rated and Open Rated U1600 sections. The cash prize pool will be 50% of the entry fees for those two sections. 

NM Ryan Hamley is donating 2 lessons to our Scholastic section winners. 

Chessable is donating three $50 vouchers to be awarded as prizes. 

The Orlando Magic is donating exclusive Magic merchandise to be awarded as prizes.

The Orlando Solar Bears ice hockey team is donating a jersey and game tickets. 

10 ORCA logo hats will be awarded as section and raffle prizes.

Several fun prizes including two exclusive Orlando Chess Open blankets and a chess-themed mini plant holder.
